Yeah, though to be fair to young people most of them don't really have the opportunity to save. Their parents had it astronomically easier than they did in that regard; rent prices, other costs are through the roof while pay is terrible in real terms in many industries.

Eg in the UK, property prices are up 300-400% in some areas since 1980, but wages only 50%. It's a similar story in most of the world with property prices, and easy 9-5 jobs with great pay and union benefits aren't easy to find like they once were.
